We are approaching that awkward time of year between Summer and Fall when dressing becomes a challenge. It's chilly in the morning, hot in the afternoon, we're tired of our summer clothes, but we're not quite ready for sweater weather.
Here are a few ideas that you can try to transition into fall and stretch your summer wardrobe a little further:
1. Top your summer dresses with a denim jacket, a blazer, or cardigan. The extra layer changes the look a bit, and will come in handy when temps are low in the morning and evening.
2. Replace your summery, tropical colored accessories for richer fall colors: olive, navy, rust, mustard. Gold tone jewelry also complements the more earthy hues of fall and winter.
3. Swap out sandals for booties and you'll give your summer dresses and cropped pants an updated (and more fall-ish) look!
